HI THERE! I’M STEPH BELL!

I am a Proud Aunt, Sister, Daughter, Lover of Life, Follower of Christ, self proclaimed “foodie”, and Friend. And I cannot wait to love, nurture, guide, cheer, and support you through your first moments as a new (and again) mother!

My aspiration for supporting mothers through their transition into motherhood started  at 22 years old, when my eyes were opened to our truest form of pregnancy and labor…. I got a glimpse at the fullest capabilities our bodies possess when given the right attention, nourishment, encouragement, resources, and support. And my heart yearned for the women who didn’t get that experience.

In the Summer of 2022, I had the honor of my life to be a helping hand in the home birth of my sister's 3rd daughter (my 5th niece!) It was a whirlwind of calm, adrenaline, love, tears, awe, and service. A truly sacred experience. 

In the subsequent weeks, I settled into their home and helped them maintain full belly’s, a clean home, and an atmosphere of rest with their newest addition. It confirmed everything that I knew I had been called to: serving mothers through the transition into motherhood. The greatest honor of my life was to witness the birth of my sweet new niece, and to be of service in the process.

In the Winter of 2022, my yearning to serve led me to Sacred Space Birth Services, and I began as an Intern Doula under the care and guidance of Doula Jen and Doula Stephany. In Summer of 2023, I opened my own Doula practice in collaboration with Sacred Space Birth Services, The Village Doula, and Sovereign Sister.

My mission is to give mothers love, attention, nurturing and nourishment in their most sacred and vulnerable moments, so that they can get the most out of the empowering experience that birth and motherhood are. And so mothers can heal to lead, love, and pour back into their homes again.

I hope that this gives a glimpse into my heart and my desire to serve YOU in your transition into motherhood!
